Pickup ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Pickup mobile app and website (pickupcg.com).

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Name, username, and profile photo
• Sports preferences and skill levels
• Game posts, messages, and content you create
• Sign-in credentials (email/password or Sign in with Apple)

We also collect information automatically:

• Location data (when you grant permission) to show nearby games
• Device type, OS version, and app usage data
• Push notification tokens

How We Use Your Information

• To show you nearby games and players
• To enable messaging between players
• To send push notifications about games you've joined
• To improve the app via analytics (PostHog)

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with:

• Supabase — our backend database and real-time infrastructure
• PostHog — product analytics (anonymized usage data)
• Expo/Apple — push notification delivery

Location Data

Location is used only to show you nearby games and courts. We do not track your location in the background. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@pickupcg.com.

Children

Pickup is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
